Last year, I teamed up with West Coast Interior Designer Kendall Wilkinson to create a social media design solution for spending the holidays apart during COVID. Wanting to mix our love of interior design & family we started #ShowMeYourTable. It was a challenge that invited anyone willing to participate to feel connected with friends and family while they were apart during the holiday season.
On our end, we utilized Kendall's Fabricut fabric line to create this stunning fall tablescape. I decorated my table with the products & then shipped them across the country to Kendall to do the same. We had too much fun hosting an Instagram Live, where we talked all about designing for the holidays, staying connected, and the power of good interior design. We also nominated a few designer friends to participate by using the hashtags #ShowMeYourTable and #Friendsgiving2020.
While things are a little different this year... we want to keep the tradition going and would like to challenge you all to put your designing minds to the test again this year! Tag us on social media and show us your gorgeous tablescapes with the hashtag #Friendsgiving2021 and #ShowMeYourTable.
The most important thing we want to do here is to give people a feeling of togetherness this fall as time with our family and friends is more important now than ever. The ultimate goal is to feel like we're all still sitting around the same table, even if we're far away.
