#ShowMeYourTable This Thanksgiving!

'Tis the season to indulge in delicious Thanksgiving food with the people you love most around the table you love the most!

Last year, I teamed up with West Coast Interior Designer Kendall Wilkinson to create a social media design solution for spending the holidays apart during COVID. Wanting to mix our love of interior design & family we started #ShowMeYourTable. It was a challenge that invited anyone willing to participate to feel connected with friends and family while they were apart during the holiday season.

On our end, we utilized Kendall's Fabricut fabric line to create this stunning fall tablescape. I decorated my table with the products & then shipped them across the country to Kendall to do the same. We had too much fun hosting an Instagram Live, where we talked all about designing for the holidays, staying connected, and the power of good interior design. We also nominated a few designer friends to participate by using the hashtags #ShowMeYourTable and #Friendsgiving2020.

While things are a little different this year... we want to keep the tradition going and would like to challenge you all to put your designing minds to the test again this year! Tag us on social media and show us your gorgeous tablescapes with the hashtag #Friendsgiving2021 and #ShowMeYourTable.

The most important thing we want to do here is to give people a feeling of togetherness this fall as time with our family and friends is more important now than ever. The ultimate goal is to feel like we're all still sitting around the same table, even if we're far away.

Seeking some inspiration? Here is how you can #ShowMeYourTable this Thanksgiving.

Vintage, vintage, vintage!

Vintage pieces are having a moment. From silverware to fabulous glassware, there is an abundance of beautiful pieces to choose from this year! Then add some foliage and candles, and your table is set to go! You can easily source beautiful glasses or dishes to add to your tablescape at local antique and vintage boutiques.

Layering for Days

I love layering stunning objects to make one magnificent moment. Pick out your favorite China and pair it with minor elements of fall for the perfect place setting! Dare we say… perfection?! And never shy away from patterns– we live for the soft purples and print in the setting you see above.

Unique Color Schemes

Who says you can't play with the palette this Thanksgiving? Not GreyHunt. We're big fans of giving a space the POP factor. Pump up the pinks and the purples– color play is here to stay! Create a beautiful display of crafted pumpkins, foliage, and flowers to create the perfect centerpiece for your table. Your guests will remember it for days.

From pops of unique color to mixing and matching your tablecloths and napkins, we are going to be serving looks this holiday. I am so excited to see how you #ShowMeYourTable this Thanksgiving. And don't forget to tag @GreyHuntInteriors on socials!
