GreyHunt Interiors is a company focused on family and experience. Named after our founder Sallie Lord's two children, Hunter and Greyson, family is at the center of everything we do. Our team of 11 members operates out of Carmel, Indiana, Chantilly, Virginia, and Washington, DC. Despite the distance, our team takes pride in maintaining regular communication and operating as a cohesive unit. We all work together on every project, with each member playing a valuable role in creating the best possible experience for our clients.
Sallie Lord • Principal Designer
GreyHunt Interiors (GHI) officially got to business when Sallie Lord, CEO, lead designer, ASID and IDS member, founded the company back in 2009. Since then, the GreyHunt team has expanded, taking ‘dream team’ to a whole new level. Sallie has a keen eye for creating and transforming for as long as she can remember, and can be heard sharing her knowledge and expertise in various interviews, publications, podcasts, and panels.
Her goal is to really listen to clients needs and wants and change the way they live and feel in their everyday life. Our work being the backdrop to clients lives and memories is truly an honor we cherish.Send Sallie An Email

At GHI, I play a major role in making your #designgoals a reality! I work alongside Sallie to understand the vision for your space and visually communicate that design through 3D renderings & design detail drawings. After your design drawings are approved, additional drawings and plans occur behind closed doors as I work closely with our contractors/vendors to ensure we execute the space of your dreams. I admire all the hard-working ladies on our team and the bespoke flair GHI brings into each design. In my free time, I indulge in all things music; listening, singing, playing, & writing.

Justine Johnson • Client Experience Designer
Justine worked as a creative branding director and experience designer in New York City. She loves understanding our clients passions and interests and creating personal touches throughout the design. She specializes in turning a room into a full multi sensory experience where you can taste and smell the design.

With a background in corporate finance, Tara brings a sharp eye for detail and operational precision to the heart of the studio. As our Studio Manager, she ensures everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes—supporting the design team wherever needed and keeping day-to-day operations on track.
Tara’s love of beautiful spaces and thoughtful design makes her an essential part of the creative process. Whether she’s helping prepare client presentations or fine-tuning the small details that make a big impact, she approaches every task with efficiency, focus, and a genuine passion for design.
Outside the studio, you’ll find Tara spending time with her family, planning her next travel adventure, or dreaming up her next home project.

Jen enjoys assisting clients with their procurement and project management needs. She likes seeing the designs come to life through ordering, delivery to installation. She loves spending time with her family, playing tennis and cooking/baking in her spare time.

Indigo Geiser • Design Assistant
At GreyHunt Interiors, I help to bring our design concepts to life by creating detailed 3D models tailored to each client’s vision. I also assist in curating cohesive designs and ensure contractors have everything they need to execute the final look seamlessly. I enjoy working at GreyHunt as I am able to help people achieve their dream home both aesthetically and functionally. I also love building on SketchUp and bringing the design vision to life for our clients to see during their presentation! In my free time, I enjoy reading, going on runs with my dog, spending time with friends and family, and exploring new restaurants.

Hunter Kjos • Assistant
Hunter is an original supporter, from helping me at home, stuffing envelopes as a little boy, to filing samples, running errands, and providing manpower. When not helping with GHI, he is at Purdue University studying Mechanical Engineering Technology to become a toy designer, ideally for Hasbro, working on projects such as Transformers. Hunter is an avid Transformer Collector, baker, history buff, and loves spending time with his cat Noble.

Greyson is also an original supporter. In fact, the business was started when he was 3 months old. He would help with mailers, filling packages, loading photos into gather, checking in inventory and manpower. When he isn’t assisting GHI, he is at Hamilton Southeastern, focused on his studies in his AP courses. He recently traveled to Europe with his school and fell in love with the beauty of the Vatican and the history of Italy and France. Greyson plans to attend college for Cybersecurity. In his free time, he is a gamer and went to nationals with his school; he is also a huge history buff and follows current politics. He loves spending time with his dog Jedi.
