Hello, Indianapolis: Our Design Team Has Arrived!

Hello, Indianapolis!
It’s official, we packed the family and headed west with the destination of Indianapolis. Although I have been here many times, it seemed even more welcoming this time around, which is saying something because everyone here is so nice. It’s as if they can sense you are new and want you to feel welcome.

It didn’t take us too long to get unpacked, okay, we are about 90% unpacked, but we really worked long days into the night to get settled quickly. Once we got the house in pretty good shape, we hopped over to the Indianapolis Design Center to hang some pictures in our space, and load up all our new bins with samples that are ready for all the beautiful designs ahead.

After one solid week of unpacking, the following Monday it was time to press the elevator button to the 2nd floor of the IDC. As I walked in and plugged in my laptop, chatted with Kara, we dove right into a team meeting with our GHI team in Virginia and it was like we didn’t miss a beat! It felt amazing! Two great spaces, one fantastic team that gives their all. I couldn’t be prouder. This week we met with our contractor, plumber, and electrician, met new designers at IDC, a talented architect, had a construction meeting in VA, client meeting with a client in Austin, and received a book that we were honored to be part of.

I would say we are off to a great start for our family and for GreyHunt Interiors in Indy. Although we have been working and designing in Indy for a few years, it truly feels amazing knowing that we can finally spread our design wings here and make a difference in clients' lives, one room (or house) at a time!
