I adore being able to transform a space into one with personality, comfort, and a little sass. This basement redesign was the chance for me to do just that! Watch how we took this family room and turned it into a moody, modern family hangout.
This client wanted a design statement that was fresh and clean but also functional. It was important that the entire family could enjoy everything from kids playing games and running around to adults hanging out with their friends. We feel like we accomplished this!
Although the design is cohesive throughout, we tried to create different experiences in the space– from a high bar table for games or snacks to a perfect corner for one-on-one conversation.
The TV lounge area is dramatic and dark to give you that watching experience, but the space as a whole is light and bright to feel open and welcoming.
This basement oozes class and functionality from the luxurious feel of this space to new, beautiful details while still keeping its charm. I love working on projects like this because I can flex my muscles to pull off a stunning redesign. What do you think of this beauty? Keep up with our creations and as always, look forward to more coming your way soon.
