One of my favorite things about working with clients is seeing the before and after shots. As we progress with putting together spaces its often easy to forget where you started. Recently, one of my designs and professional shots got picked up by Home & Design Magazine to be featured in their Source Book. It is a great honor and now I can finally share these shots with you all!
This client was ready for a fresh and more modern look but was holding on to some antique and sentimental pieces. By recovering her sofa and adding a splash of paint to the old furniture, I was able to incorporate her valuable pieces with ease. One of my favorite touches is the navy ceiling. I took a stencil from Cutting Edge Stencils and painted over the matte using a gloss, to really add some subtle interest. It was a great project that was well worth it as this family of six now enjoys using this space everyday!
