• New York Fashion Week: Trendspotting

Since returning from Fashion Week, I was so excited to be able to share some of my experience and the great talent I was surrounded with that week! Additionally, I was excited to be able to keep and eye out to spot some trends for you peeps.

Its no secret that color is in right now in the design world, ever since Pantone released their Color of the Year, Ultraviolet. I was happily pleased to see the trend be as definite in the fashion world as it is for interiors right now. Of course, there were still the classic blacks and whites which is totally my style, but who doesn’t love a good pop of color! And this season I saw lots of jewel tones- emeralds, cobalts and fuchsias- love!

Other trends I continued to see were lots of oversized jackets, more texture and movement in lines like ruching. With another top look of belts and belt jewelry it was reminiscent of the 40’s. So, scroll down and see some looks from the runway as well as some items I’m loving right now!
